Dear St. Gregory the Great Families,
Happy summer! We have made it successfully through another school year and we are so proud of all of our students and the excellent strides they have made. We hope your summer is filled with laughter and fun times spent together with family and friends. These last two years have been challenging for everyone and students need to take some time to unwind and enjoy themselves. However, we know how hard your students have worked to make great reading and math gains this year, and if they don’t continue to work that “muscle” over the summer, they might lose some of those gains. With that in mind we have set up a summer work program for students and are hoping that you could build some time into your summer schedule for your student to read and reinforce his or her math skills. In August students will turn in their summer work and will be assessed for what they have completed. All information, book lists, and work for these programs can be found by using the links below.
- Summer math work for rising 1st through 5th grade students
- Summer math work for rising middle school students
- Summer reading work for rising 1st through 8th grade students
You can find Mrs. Grosz’s summer reading BINGO challenge on the reading summer work letter that is linked above.
The faculty and staff of St. Gregory the Great are excited for the 2022-2023 school year to begin! We believe this summer work and practice will assist in a successful start to the new school year.
Enjoy your summer and we can’t wait to see you in August!
