Virginia Education Improvement Scholarships Tax Credits (EISTC) Program
Virginia’s EISTC Program is another way to help Saint Gregory the Great Catholic School offer scholarships to low-income students who could not receive a Catholic education otherwise. An individual or business that donates to this program then receives a Virginia state tax credit equal to 65% of the contribution in addition to federal and state income tax deductions. These donations are distributed as available scholarships to the school through the Catholic Diocese of Richmond’s McMahon Parater Scholarship Foundation.
