Students

Welcome Home, Saints!

Student life at SGGS is full of excitement and new opportunities for friendship and growth, both academically and in faith.

Beginning in Junior Kindergarten, our youngest Saints are paired with an older student in Vianney Hall to take part in our Buddy Program.

At the end of 4th grade, Saints are sorted into Houses with other students in grades 5-8. The SGGS House Program allows students to gather together in a casual setting, breaking the barrier of grade level and forming friendships and bonds.

A wide variety of extracurricular clubs and athletics are also offered at SGGS. Students can participate in everything from soccer to golf, tennis, track, and more! Find a full list of clubs and athletic opportunities here.

Once a student is welcomed to Vianney Hall in 6th grade, students are challenged even more, both academically and mentally. We understand the challenges that a young teenager faces in the world, so we have an on campus counselor, Mrs. Kyra Kruger. Mrs. Kruger is available to any student at SGGS that may need help. Vianney Hall students are also challenged to set the example of community involvement. Though our House programs go out into the community to fund raise, students in grades 6-8 are additionally required to complete volunteer hours by the end of each school year.

Students are able to explore a variety of electives while at SGGS. Beginning in Junior Kindergarten, our students are introduced to music, Spanish, computer/technology, art, library, and physical education. These opportunities grow with the students as well. In third-fifth grade, students spend half of the academic year learning an instrument and the other half in a traditional music class. Opportunities to join chorus and a performance choir are also available. Once in Vianney Hall, students may choose from the same options as well as several others! These include:
