Learning about a new topic is always better absorbed mentally when you can eat it! 4th grade has been studying the layers of the Earth and as a final representation layered pudding into a cup to represent the different layers, inner core, outer core, mantle, and crust. It just so happens the crust is made out of OREO, who knew! Looks delicious, Saints! Today we began Celebrate Catholic Schools Week by celebrating our community. Our youngest Saints were excited to receive a visit from the Virginia Beach Fire Department Station 2. Not only did they receive a demonstration of how a firefighter puts on their gear, but they also toured the first truck and then received a fire safety lesson in the classroom, check out those hats!
